They are clones of clones of copies, and track your history is important for some. For ease of use the main concern is a proven history of reliability of the developer. For example, the popular R4 SDHC is a clone of the DSTT, but it has a robust set of features and updates of confidence.

Note that, although some of the cards we carry in our store are known clones, which are well supported by professional teams of developers dedicated to updating their cards. A clone doesn ¨ necessarily mean a bad card and unreliable, but there are many labels deliberately confusing. However, the packaging is often used to distinguish between cards from different manufacturers. The R4 SDHC (beige box) comes from the manufacture of r4i hdsc (red box), and differ from those of the team that makes the first R4 SDHC (black box). A fake bad can mean instability or unusual changes, but to date there has only been a card that ¯ s is known to cause damage to your DS. N5 card had a design flaw that caused a short circuit and a blown fuse after all inserts Micro SD card.
initial developers started as soon as the Game Boy Advanced and maintained with oil slot 2 (GBA slot down in the DS and DS Lite), flash cards of the original DS console. Recognition should be given to equipment and discontinued 2 slot cards to lay the groundwork. Some of them are still working today, including the Supercard team. Since then there has been much migration from developers to add to the confusion of what was making the card.
Later in the slot-1 card entered into development, 2 card slots in disgrace, R4 Revolution card and quickly rose to the top of popularity. The R4 v2 is an update on everything in the elimination of spring-clip SDHC slot. The team of R4 and the M3 team are closely related, if not the same team, and the R4v2 M3DS Simply was renamed with the new firmware, as opposed to an unlicensed clone card. The M3DS Real is a legitimate upgrade, not a clone of the M3DS Simply. The series comes from the M3 Team iTouch, designed as an entry level card to his family. The SDHC M3i M3i and update are bogus are not M3 Team and should not be trusted.
There have been more clones and re-branding of the line than any other card R4. Although bearing the same name as R4, several manufacturers have no affiliation with the original R4 team and develop their own family card and software. There are four different major manufacturers that produce a ¡° ± R4 card. The original R4 team is missing, then there are the makers of the first R4 SDHC, people who make the R4 SDHC (red box) started with a clone of the DSTT and R4 make gold, the Ultra R4 team is less popular, but still prevail, and add to the confusion, the M3 team developed its own real-time strategy R4 (white box).
Cards from other teams were in development at or shortly after the r4i. They are original technologies in their own right and not clones of other cards, DSTT, the EZFlash V, the Acekard, the DSONE Supercard and CycloDS Evolution. The Supercard team sought the CycloDS card is a clone of their own, but this claim has not been substantiated. It is generally considered that the CycloDS is higher than the DSONE Supercard, and it was so valuable (if expensive) that led to the popular card edge as a clone.
As always we strive to help our clients make informed decisions and understand that their cards are coming. We R4 SDHC, DSTT, R4 SDHC, 2i Acekard, EZFlash Vi, M3i zero and iEdge now!
